Riding Lessons
Although the occasional horseback ride is an enjoyable experience, there is so much more to riding than simply sitting in the saddle. By studying horsebehavior, characteristics, and instinctive responses, riders can learn to partner with their horses.
In addition to teaching the basics of safety, horsemanship, and riding, the Matsqui Riding School creates an environment for you to develop a unique relationship with your assigned horse. As you study your horse’s behavior and participate together in activities and exercises, you’ll not only learn to communicate effectively with your horse, but also to understand what it is that your horse is trying to convey to you. This takes riding to a whole different level, making it much more enjoyable for both horse and rider.
